Black On Black is the evasion of reification. In the act of naming and identifying, one is always at risk of becoming a commodity. To understand that we are never in a solid state, forever in flux. And that being is conditioned on a set of relations at any given time. There is the fear that when a name is uttered, the weight of history comes crashing down all at once with it. It engulfs us, freezes us, packages us. Black On Black is riding that fear in the space between knowing. Always coming and going, at the speed of a black hole; Declassified, There are those that name but do not see, and there are those who see me and know they do not have to say shit. They just see The Black On Black.
